Short History
« on: July 27, 2008, 10:18:37 pm »

I generated a new world using the create new world now! option, not the design new world with parameters option and it only went to the year 200.
Is this a bug? cuz I thought that it's supposed to go to 1050...

The megabeast population fell below the percentage that standard world gen uses. Happens to most people, buff your megas a LOT if you want 1050 with mega beasts.

Yeah, but that'd be a "Define world parameters" thing.

How do you "buff them up"?

You'll need to crack open the RAWs folder. Creature_standard has most of them. Take a look in the modding subforum for more detailed information.

Which stats should I buff in order to have megabeasts last longer? I thought it was defense, size, or attack min:max. The tags that are somewhat related, but my megabeasts still die before 100.

Wow, I'd love to adventure on your world...  :D

But seriously, size helps alot, Defense a bit less and a size 30 with 1:1 attack still owns a heck of a lot...

thnx, I figured a way around the problem, do design world with parameters, and I set the percentage of megabeasts dead required to stop world generation to "Ignore"

It's easy to make megabeasts survive... Just generate a very, very hostile world.
