Just for confirmation: you can't shoot arrows at people who are lying down?

I've run into the problem of being unable to shoot anyone who's lying down. This becomes a problem since my elf raider only ever manages to survive while sneaking, and I cannot get close to the people who are lying down without them detecting me.

(My character is legendary in both bowmanship and ambushing so I'm pretty sure it's not her skills that are the problem)

It reduces your accuracy severly, but it can still hit. Well, at least legendary bowmen seem completely capable of killing me while I'm lying down.

Are they lying down because they're wounded?  I've noticed that you tend to stop auto-attacking enemies that give in to pain.

Mm, it's definately still in auto-attack mode. If I walk over I'll automatically hit them with my bow.

I think that's typically more benign creatures like giant moles, gazelles, etc.

Has that always been the case (that lying down makes you hard to hit)?  Sounds like a tactic for surviving an encounter with a bowman... though the legendary types probably hit anyway.

I'm assuming you waited until after Misterstone played dead in front of a bowman and soon was not playing anymore?

Whenever that happens with one of my rock throwing adventurers, I just close in and finish the job with a nice strangling.

In my experience, the only difference when someone's on the ground is that you have to move the targeting cursor to their square, rather than one square in their direction.
