Ok, I have 100000 shares in df now and I'm not selling, that should help the price a bit.

The price was a lot higher at one point (I remember buying some shares at over $2 and it went up from that) but it vanished sometime the night before last (uk time) so blame the non-df people I think (can't imagine us DFers would sell)

Well I'm trying to make fast money on other stocks to fund DF. We'll get it back up there eventually.

This is awesome. I'm using the money I get just from possessing DF stock to finance everything else I do.

Woohoo! Unfortunately, since the stock never splits, once you get a high price like that most people are locked out from buying more.

And since most stocks seem to get most of their growth from people buying stock (as opposed to clicking on the link), it really slows down. Oh well, nice while it lasted.

Mebbe I should start doing the real stocks...My Dr. Pepper one isn't doing horrible like I thought it would, my first stock(DF) is currently at (whips out calculator to try to figure it, fails miserably) uh...an insane percentage over it's starting value...I could be rich.  Then I could donate thousands to Toady!

Also I have come across a max limit on the No. of stocks you can have on an item. (100,000)
This means you really do need new people buying it once you get to a certain point.

I just sold my shares as I noticed DF would be sinking soon... pocketed over 75,000 dollars!

Wait, am I doing this wrong? Buy low sell high, amiright?

It's actually possible to buy fractions of a single stock, for example entering .1 or .001 in the Buy input box.

Quite entertaining.  I wonder what the site's (Dwarf Fortresses not thotmarket) traffic graph looks like lately.  Is it all just simple clicks then back button? Or is it alotta new traffic that actually stays around awhile? (can you even tell that with those?)

I wonder if Toady and Threetoe have stock.
