It doesn't look like I got on the list even though I requested, can I please get on the list?

Dadam (the OP) is long gone, along with most people's will to keep playing this fortress.  If you want to take it up any time, go right ahead.  It's really just a matter of whoever wants it and happens to finish a year.

Account of 'Taco Dan' Egenerith:

Granite 1,
They put ME in charge, ME of all people.  Some arbitrary leadership shit that everyone automatically signs up for when they get here, I guess they just pull names out of a hat.
This place is a disorganized shit-hole, I can find where anything is! There are going to be a few changes around here.

OOC: the frame rate is TERRIBLE, I need to pause the game to go anywhere.

Granite 2,
I've ordered all excess animals to be butchered, It should clean up some space (OOC: And frame rate) and add to our food stocks.
I've also ordered LOTS of bins made, because our stockpiles are just laying on the floor.

Granite 11,
I stumbled upon a lever the other day and pulled it out of curiosity, to my horror it flooded the stairway with magma, I turned it off quickly, luckily nobody was harmed.

I just started using 40d16 and it runs a lot better, I'm wondering if anyone else needs to use it if I upload the save.

It seems that trying to play a dwarf in adventure mode produces a nemesis unit load error, but playing a human works just fine.

Since the OP is gone, perhaps we should create a new topic, where we log all those that want a turn etc? It would surely be easier to manage.
Also, if nobody else wants to, I'll take a turn after Taco Dan.

That sounds like a good idea, somebody should do that.

Granite 12,
A planter died because of the magma today, didn't know why he was fucking stupid enough to try and take a magma bath.

Granite 14,
Elves are bitching about trees, told 'em to fuck off, they insult us:

That's it, motherfuckers! Let's see how you like your precious trees when they're all gone!

Granite 22,
We took everything from the elf traders, they didn't seem to care to much that we were getting stuff for free. In fact, they just packed up and left without a fuss! I'm starting to like this job better and better!
On a side note, I've found our accumulated wealth adds up to five million nine hundred eighty-seven thousand seventy-eight dwarfbucks. (db5,987,078)

Okay, so I just discovered this thread for a first time, and read the last few pages and the first post.  Being intrigued by the premise, I downloaded it so I could have a look around one of the oldest succession forts in existence.

And I have only one question to ask.

WHAT IN ARMOK'S NAME IS THIS PLACE?!

Those are the endless halls :P

As to the new topic, once my turn arrives I'll create one if nobody else wants to.

Also, I checked the page before this and it looks like somebody unleashed demons.

What happened to those demons?
