Iron stuff remains solid in magma.  I.e. goblin crap.

I had temp on during my turn, which I believe was the last complete one.

I know what you mean with the "What the hall?" kind of reaction.  The fort is crazy.

I really really want to play my turn.  Really want to.  Short on time with the semester wrapping up, but really want to.

Tell you what, I'll get a season or more done today and post it.

Just do what I did:  Procrastinate on school work until you fail half a dozen classes and have to go to school an extra year.

That's no solution.  I'm already doing that anyway, I need an additional plan.

Actually, I'm playing the game now.  At 10-15 FPS, it's taken an hour to get to 16th Granite, but it's going.  I just told the Elven diplomat to piss off about his trees.

My original plan was to just ride out the year as quick as possible, but I've got a project in mind now.  Nothing spectacular, just a customary big damn tomb.  It'll probably take me until the weekend to get the turn done.

Double post bump bump.

Even with DF running full time in the background, it took like 5-6 hours to get through spring, but I'm still through spring.  Stuffs coming along OK, got an artifact box, we're low on barrels somehow, my tomb is well on its way, and we killed some goblins.

I'll put together a whole IC post at the end with pictures and such.

The fortress may run as slow as hell, filled with stupid dwarves, be attacked by pansy elves and goblins, be annoyed by humans, have complete shortages of everything and really annoying nobles...

But heck, look at that Artifact Box!!!

Dump?  You have no idea.  Whatever you do, don't un-forbid any clothing items.  They'll never stop hauling...

I'm exporting the image files for a map now, should be up soon.  I'm partway through summer, with my big tomb-thing partly complete.  FPS wobbling between 13 and 8 depending on how many goblins are lurking around, and I keep having to micromanage my construction because I didn't put together a proper building plan.

EDIT: Alright, map is up.  Doesn't including the deep exploratory mining shafts, but otherwise complete.

A bit of an understatement perhaps?

Hey folks, Aq here with a status update.  I had to go out of town for a little while, and do some chores today.  I'm through summer and into fall, and I don't have anything else to do after Monday morning, so I should be done late Monday night.  Taking a while, but even leaving it running doesn't help because of how crappy my computer is.  Seriously, I think it's about to burst into flame from all the dust in it.  I really need some canned air.

We just got another turtle shell amulet.  Also found out that if there is a garbage area over a pit anywhere on the map dwarves will only dump items there.  Tomb is being built much faster now.
