I would like to join too, cause I like the idea. When all ten of us are done, do we start a new round (that would be good)?

My dwarf: Antlia (and whatever last name it gets)

Eternity here we come!  See you all on the other side!

Dadamh - are you looking for an area where we will actually be attacked sometimes?

And if you haven't already started, yeah, a sedimentary layer is great to have.  If this fort is going to last forever, sand will definately be necessary.

I'm in. This game looks strong enough to bear the Curse Of PTTG.

Make sure we have dwarves at war with goblins. I think that a little raw-ing can be done so that dwarves allow everything and goblins Punish_capital everything, (except for murder), and thus they are always at war. Tada!

Haha holy carp, everyone is all jazzed.  Ok, I'll update the list up top and get to finding a site.

Re: Sedimentary, it is not impossible but very difficult to get all the features I want along with a sedimentary layer.  That is to say, Magma (big one), Chasm (eh), Cave River (eh), and HFS (important!).

Re; Gobins.  You always get seiged regardless of war, I think.  But yeah, ok, I can set dwarves to think lots of things are Unthinkable that goblins find Acceptable, and they'll always be at war.

However the awesomeness of the world parameterization is that I can tailor a lot of things, so I'll work on that.  Hopefully I'll embark today and get up a starting post.

Tentatively add me to the end of the list would you?
If the fort gets laggy you will have to skip me though as the computer I have atm is pretty crap.
