What if something happens like a Tantrum Spiral?
Logged
Rather than having them directly force you to mine adamantine, I would suggest that they give you strange moods that require adamantine. "Dig out the adamantine or Urist here goes insane and dies" is suitably vicious.

(It occurs to me that you can probably get "Lovecraft" as the random name of your fortress. That's when you know you're screwed.)

There will allways be new imigrants and possibility to reclaim.
I will try not to kill anyone or do anything stupied, but i want restart my turn for anything less then a fatal crash. ^^

Is this a good time to mention that all my forts usally end up as tantrum spirals of doom?

Urist Eternalist cancels: throw tantrum: too apathetic.

These dwarves are all insane anyway, and absolutely uncaring.  If you do somehow inspire a full-blown tantrum spiral, be sure to record it, I'm sure it'll be epic.  Probably no one left at the end but me and Dadam too.

To bring me up to speed. The important dwarves to keep most check on will be.

Sizik the miner.
Dadam the Engraver
Marineking the Director
Kishmond the OCD Armorsmith
Likot the Planter
PTTH the Siege Operator
Aqizzar the Captain of the Guard.
iluogo the Minerldier.

Did I miss any one?
Since we need more barrels I am considering taking the role of the manager, or an Alien consciousness occuping the mentioned dwarf trying to bring order to the mess.

If no one think it will mess up the flow or break the spirit of the game. It's the only way I can think of resonabliy bring in my nickname into the game. ^^

Man a tantrum spiral would get weird in this fort.  We've got the teeming masses, and a few living gods with axes that could probably kill half the fort alone.

Anyway, do what you like!  You can reassign nobles if you like, it's your turn.

Had a look around in the save yesterday, still trying to find everything. Getting a good feel of the game.

How long time do I have left to finnish my turn?
Knowing how to balance it with other stuff during my week?

With "game" i mean fort....

Eh, this fort isn't timed, but of course it'd be good if you could get it done sooner rather than later.

Great. I will work as fast as I can, i'll bring the game with me to Sweden, and finnish it there if worse comes to worse.

Ok, the two new folks, your names are tacked onto the end of the list, though that's a long way off.

Chazzy, since the next guy hasn't been active in a month and a half, I put you in as next (#23a).  I'll PM you again when it's your turn.

With a 50/50 record of inactive skips, I wouldn't worry about the list being long.

Speaking of which, throw me back in there as well.

Hey Spaceman, how's the fort doing?

Grumble grumble linecutter cough cough.

Anway, I'll be very disappointed if half the fort isn't flooded and the rest and incomprehensible mess by my turn.

Also, updates for the forum god.
