With goals and ideas for the fortress changing every week, I would be suprised if the fortress wasn't completely rebuilt by my turn.

Out with the old, and in with the new!

I actually started doing that in the alternate reality I'm playing in. First I build extensive fortifications, and then started building a ceiling because I was annoyed by Marksgoblins killing everyone who dared step outside.

Useless Facts. one floor is enough space to supply each dwarf you'll ever have with a personal 7x7 size room. Still leaving lots of room for workshops and diningrooms. I was bored once and just built perfect square rooms on the bottom floor with corridors around them.

I will probably try to think of something dangerously creative on my turn if the fortress is stable then.

HA.

But yeah, maybe it will stabilize eventually.  Currently the place seems about as stable as Boatmurdered.

I'll spend MY time building multiple dangerous yet pointless projects that have the potential to flood my fortress with water/magma/vomit, etc.

Any room for another ruler? I'll do a year, so long as it is before September.

Always room for more, but if you'll refer to the list on the starting page you'll see that september is pretty unlikely...actually impossible!  ;D  Pretty long...

ok. I'll just spend my time building water/magma filled resetable fall traps then. :P

Go for it!  :P  But if you do, you'd better watch your back...because of all the traps...I mean.

Flooding w/vomit.  That'd be interesting.  Remove all of the designations for coffins used for burials, put a bunch of graveyard areas (one tile big) lining the halls, kill half of the population...let the vomiting ensue.

We have just been talking about the fact that my turn might not start untill 3 months in the future. Queue skipping wouldn't sit well with me atm. ^^

If only you could designate specific areas for dwarves to vomit... Then I could create the Pool of Bile Chunks, the centerpeice of the former graveyard!

This is a first come, first serve fortress of eternity.  Everyone waits their turn.  The only thing that would expedite someone's wait time would be a pass, or a skip due to inactivity.

So no worries there!  ;D

Speaking of which, whose turn is it?  Antlia?  How's the fortress coming along?

I'm still around.  The succession game has been a bit slow to move lately, so I haven't posted daily per se.
