Alfador, you beat me to it.  I had the same caption in mind and everything.

That one is a must-have!

Best of luck to your project, its awesome!

I only have one recommended change that hasn't already been mentioned. Behind the dwarf at the top there should be a pair of crossed pickaxes. Its currently missing a "digger" element.

This is something I'd love to have - as allready said once so far, I think it'd be best in cloth, not paper.

...Prefferably pig-tail :p

A possible "Elves" badge, hehe.  This is a rather comical depiction, but in my mind I imagine the actual elves of Dwarf Fortress to look much more sinister... alien almost.

That's awesome. The only suggestion I have is to try to make it look more LOTR-like. That depiction looks too much like how I would imagine goblins to look for my taste.
Eyebrows should be thinner, ears should point upward more, chin should be less square, etc. etc. Just my two cents.

Not to say that that depiction is not perfectly fitting for the world of DF, but it's not entirely recognizable as an elf. I guess if you put "Cannibalistic Elves" under it as a caption, it would work, but it could still be a bit more graceful.

Oh, and I can't dwarf draw worth shit, so my opinion isn't worth much. I take a mixup of the words dwarf and draw as an indication that I should go to sleep now.

I just had a thought.  It should have a big banner or sentence at the bottom saying STRIKE THE EARTH in dwarf-ish style letters.

It'd be really cool if random printings could have different titles at the top like "Tales of Cupidity and Strife" and so forth, but that's probably not doable.

I thought that was a goblin, but now that I know what it is it looks pretty good.

Personally, I like it, as these elves are nothing at all like the LOTR elves. They live in the wild with no real homes, they die easily in combat, and they breed like rabbits. Just give him some more hair, so he doesn't look bald.

Maybe there should be a picture of a dwarven groin clad in a granite thong menacing with spikes of alderwood, inlaid in copper and decorated with images of a giant cave swallow killing a dwarf in gibbon leather.  Just the hip area, two thighs, and the artifact thong in all of its glory.

Or maybe better would be a dwarf holding said artifact above his head triumphantly?

Has anyone covered recursive artifacts?  Those should count.

speaking of the end of worlds, there should be one for permaflooding.

A big tsunamy wave with the infinity symbol on it would do. But make sure it has a drowning dwarf or two in it.

Such a morbid thread, and all for profit :D! This is why i love DF.

Armageddon: "-3"
Huh?

"Error: Inflate -3" was the end of worlds.

I always wondered what that toggle for "Cheese (Plant)" was about.  "Drink (Animal)" too.

Cow milk, camel milk, all the milks go in under Drink (Animal).
