Interesting, I was always wondering about the DF version numbers.

"Matt: DF is about 28% done, if I read the version numbers correctly?

Tarn: Well, large grain of salt there, but yeah. Of course, once it gets up to v1, I have all the post v1 items posted as well…"

Maybe DF will reach ~v0.35 after the full Army Arc is completed?  :)
Ah man, I am really wondering how awesome v1.0 will be.  8)

I was under the impression the version was 0.# of cores done.# of reqs done.# of bloats done, which would leave us at around 0.60.600.400, but I dunno anymore.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

It's kind of funny - if not a bit disturbing - that Toady said in the interview how worried he is about 3rd parties...this most recent release has a built in feature that basically makes Prospector, probably one of the most widely used utilities, obsolete.

Modder beware...

I don't really see how a useful feature being included in the game is 'disturbing'

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the cosmos. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips, I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my veins.
