I think so.  Anything can now be undead, AFAIK, including megabeasts.

FYI: He should be easy to kill.  You can just kite him and throw rocks until he dies.  If this were a skeletal giant, then you'd really be in trouble.

Problem was, it was a crossbow character... and I don't like throwing rocks since it is cheezy.  Still, not very dangerous since it was too slow to actually catch me.  THe only time zombies have been dangerous was when they were in those cramped pyramids in older versions of the game. :)

I accidentally ran into a skeletal Giant today. Scared the shit out of me, then promptly killed me before killing my companion. I rolled another guy, found the cave where he must have come from nearby (which was also just west of a Mountainhome), slayed the bastard, and went to Legends to check it all out.

Turns out the one I slayed wasn't even the one who initially killed me...meaning there were at least two skeleton giants...maybe more.

Scary shit.

I have a zombie dragon with 160+ kills ot her name somewhere knocking around my world.  I haven't met her yet, though the 60+ kill normal dragon I'm currently after is quite tough enough.
