Im 100% sure this is related to the soilders putting on a boot over and over, well now its a sworddwarf not grabbing his dam sword. He grabs it drops it takes a few steps away then goes back grabs it drops it.. etc etc forever..

All right, this is fixed for next time (though the dwarf will pick up the sword and then drop it one final time after sparring).  The alder longsword is two-handed for a dwarf and should have been satisfying the two weapon requirement but was only doing so halfway.
