Now I just run up to her and blast her in the face.
I should go to sleep...

The logistical problems dealing with a private space colony are at least as bad as dealing with the zombies.

Damn right. If they attack, you want to be well rested.

Just make sure that you have a guard cat (or five) on duty.

I want to be the zombie disembler who was chained to a radiator with a stack of comic books and tries to deal with the new world as one of the heros would.

I just want to stay uninfected. And generally alive. And not insane. Oh, and healthy enough.

Give me a Shotgun, enough shells to ride the storm, and a canteen filled with Dr Pepper and I'll be pleased.

Replace Dr. Pepper with Root Beer(The good kind that comes in glass bottles, not the cheap party kind), the shotgun with the gun used in all the Death Wish movies and not insane with Reverend Gregory insane, and it would be ideal for me.

I'd prefer root beer as well, although water is really the best in a practical sense.

Root beer?  If the world goes to pot and there are zombies running around, I'm making my stand at the Mountain Dew factory.

Which is why I plan on hiding in my bathroom until a day or two after the main zombie wave sweeps in, to let all the macho guys blow each other way without getting in the crossfire.  But yeah, you know that part in World War Z, where it talks about designing a nation to fight off an apocalypse?  Texas fits the bill pretty well too.

In ND, it's true. There are definitly more guns than people. I could raid five houses, and I'd almost certainly get atleast seven shotguns.
