1 word is roughly equal to a sword
Why?
Because the proverb said so. You don't argue with proverbs.

Besides, the intent to the proverb is that writing can have more effect than an army, not one sword. Many words > many swords, therefore 1 word ~= 1 sword.

Because the proverb said so.
No it didn't. The proverb goes "The pen is mightier than the sword", not "A word is mightier than a sword". And that's a completely ridiculous calculation you've got there. I might as well say that many nuclear bombs will kill many people, therefore 1 nuclear bomb will kill 1 person.

That would make it too easy for us. Besides, too much is unknown. What is the formula from pens to words and pens to sword? We just know that pen > sword. Nuke > sword, though. I would say the pen is a story; since a picture an a caption can give a story, 1050words+- ~= pen

I would say the pen is a story
You would say that, but the rules of engagement are, I believe, that you're only allowed to use proverbs. Otherwise, it gets kind of pointless. Like if I were to say that "I would say that women are evil, right? Right." instead of "Women use up time and money. Time is money. So women are money squared. Money is the root of all evil. Women are evil." It's not funny any more. (Yes, I see the irony in that statement)

While I will admit that 1 sword might not equal one word, a camera can produce pictures at many times the rate a pen can produce words, and each of those pictures is worth 1000 words. Therefore, a camera is greater than at LEAST 60000 swords, and that's assuming the one wielding the pen write one word every second.

Hmmm. Okay, that does work, I guess. In the twisted women=evil pseudologic sense, anyway.

1 nuclear bomb will kill 1 person.

I really do not see how that is wrong.
