dump/melt/hide from 'd'

Well, d is the designate menu, so I'd assume that like all designations you can do it in a rectangle, revlob

Awesome! I'm not quite sure what I was thinking of instead, something to do with the stocks menu, maybe...

Anyway, that's my biggest gripe put to rest. :)

Potentially you can get seiged by humans, midgits and elves now too. And get goblin caravans.

So there's another thing to look forward to. We'll gen worlds until we find a cursed ocean next to a scorching haunted desert that gets seiged by every possible race. Maybe savanna instead of desert so we get hippos. And ponds wih carp? Zombie carp?

nah, like I've been saying, fortress mode isn't going to change that much with respect to sieges.  Same old crap there.

And I'm not sure Jreengus will occur anymore...  the kobolds are so timid now that they won't invade a site with an army like that...  I'll have to add things to get them riled up later, possibly.  Or they can name the theft events -- right now theft events gets boring descriptive names.

I think it'll be nice to have a fresh, new FoTF thread when the new release comes out.

The traditional signal for the creation of a new FoTF is the 44th page- this is the point at which the old forum software broke down. However, this new software is much better, and we no longer need new threads, other than for organization.

Somebody make a "Future of the Future of The Fortress" thread concerning the policies of making new threads and their numbering...

Does anyone know if the init.txt files are compatible? I'd hate to have to re-type all those little settings.

Smeg, I was waiting for this so much and now I have to go back to ASCII graphics for a while to play with it...

Well, on the good side, I can run it fullscreen now :)
