I love how we can have a discussion about the exact wording of an expression in a sentence Toady uses. Hell, let's debate the meaning! Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Does anyone else feel like the forums have experienced a massive drop in intelligence now that the new release is almost here?  It's like the full force of all of our pent-up anticipation is releasing itself right now.

I think there's just a few younger members who have joined recently, not sure where from.

Well, it's officially accepted that ends of eras/centuries usually bear intelligence drop and increase in dissipation and crime.
It's a psychological side of human acceptance of time and timemarks.
The new century is coming.
I personally feel some mental instability because of the new release.

Ooh, it looks like I'll get to play the new version on my flight home from Japan after all. Guess I had better get Wine running faster so it will be more fun.

Thanks for the slog, Toady!

Heres to a massive influx of posts to the Suggestions, Questions, Modding, and Bugs forums, with a noted drop to posts in Various Nonsence, and the other games boards.

Ah, just like the 3D release... checking the site every 10 seconds to see if there was a release yet...its deja vu.

He has a point, what if Toady releases it as soon as it's finished?  As in, like right now?!  Zoooomg!

Hmm, I've been wondering that too. But I have a certain doubt about that, for some reason.

Odd how "Experiment" in DF is often synonymous with "Raging inferno of death and dispair"

Think a midnight release is at all possible/probable? Eastern time, of course.
