I desire to have this release too, but I don't mind to wait one more month to get more cool features.


And ability to make world maps... WUSSAAH!! HURRAAY! Now I can make Middle-earth map for my ME mod =))))).

t''s so sad.  It''s as if De Beers as invaded Dwarf Fortress.  I nearly cried when I saw how valued and rare diamonds were in Dwarf Fortress.

I still and forever believe that "Beyond Quality" is a pun.

1) It means that everything is so great that it is beyond quality
and
2) It means that everything is so terrible that quality is beyond it.
-Supported by the fact that it is written out MS Paint Style... and I just realised that putting it as #2 is also a pun.

Mind you that as a pun it is said as a joke.

So saying that the next release of Dwarf Fortress is "Beyond Quality" KINDA says both meanings and I am curious to how #2 comes into this.

Will this DAMNED movie reference EVER END!!!

It wasn't even that great a scene in the movie anyhow... Especially with EVERY commercial saying it constantly.

And if I get it right and we can specify locations for every entity... We can have a pocket world with 10+ entities to simulate a desired plot!!!

I didn't expect an update, so I hadn't checked the page.

The goblins on that map seem to have shot themselves in the foot. If those two goblins happen to be the same gender, they would be the last goblins on the face of the dwarf planet.

Wow. Imagine my suprise when I found that Toady had updated the devlog today. Now  imagine it when I found out that we could sculpt our own worlds! This release gets better by the day, it seems!
