Blasphemy! Foul goblinlovers!

So, I started a new fort in the new version. When the first caravan from Mountainhomes arrived, I got an (unpleasant  >:( ) surprise (the Hamlet Liaison):


A goblin! Foul creature! It just might be that some year he will accidentally get trapped in a flooding chamber  ::)

thats awesome! you should read about him in legends mode, and see how he got there.  or find him in adventure mode and talk to him.

Seriously, I'm sure there's a cool story here.

That goblin could've been around since the beginning of the world, if he/she was enslaved early or something.

Hmm... They can occupy a goblin fortress without enslaving the population, though, right?

These announcements scared me:

Then I saw that there are human leaders in the goblin civ and goblin leaders in the human civ...

And my civ is at peace with the goblins, does this mean I won't get sieged?

It should mean no sieges, though rogue bands of Goblin 'adventurers' will still attack/try to snach your precious babies.

It would be mean to trap him in a flooding chamber. I think a 15 z level drop onto spikes is more fitting.

Yeah, a lot of goblins in the new version are... friendly...
