Easter eggs converge here!
« on: July 17, 2008, 05:54:15 am »

So i was checking the civs screen and was amused to find what I have exported to the goblins and what they offer me. terror and vengeance in that order whilst i have been annoying the kobolds and they have graciously offered me death. I know that that was obvious and all but i am rubbish at finding easter eggs and so invite people to share theres.
go on! you know you want to!

Covering the blatantly obvious section a bit more, the manual holds the old-time motto 'loosing is fun'. And if you reclaim, it says 'loosing was fun the last time, and it'll be fun this time, too'.

If the manual actually says, "loosing is fun", I'm gonna have to boycott Dwarf Fortress.  (Only for a couple of hours, though, until 39c or whatever is released and I get home from work.)

It says "LOSING" not "LOOSING".

Although, loosing dragons from cages IS fun too.

Just like how in adventure mode it say 'losing is fun, but now its personal'.

On a whole 'nother set of forums I recently saw someone say that a waitress made the "loose their patients." Apparently the guy was a mad scientist in charge of an insane asylum.

Yeah, it does that anyway...  And the 'O' in "Beyond Quality" changes to an '@' sign when it does so.
