Desert Wasteland

Has anyone successfully made a desert wasteland map yet?  If so, could you post seeds and such here?  All my attempts at figuring out the parameters have resulted in infinite rejections.

When I was making my world with lots of volcanos i got something like 6000 rejections but the map was generated in the end.

Keep tweaking those world values.

This thread, World editor - elev/rain/temp/drain biome values should prove a helpful guideline for what settings generate more deserts, namely:

Quote
Sand Desert
Rain: 0-9
Drain: 0-32

And any elevation between 100 and 299.

I've tried this, and though getting the right look on the gen screen, it rejects infinitely.

Go nullify all the 'minimum insertbiomehere' things.
