So we can be sieged by any race now.  That's all well and good, but can we be sieged by more than one race at the same time (or at least in the same fortress, assuming no reclaims, since those tend to reroll certain parameters).

Problem takes care of itself.

Elves don't have allies, they have field rations.

I meant in the sense that we get swarmed by multiple hostile civs.  I've not been especially fond of having more than one evil race in the game at a time since each fortress could only have one antagonist plus one nuisance.  If we can now find ourselves besieged by numerous threats, I may throw in a wide variety of race mods simultaneously and witness the chaos my poor dwarves must endure.

Elves don't siege fortresses, they're just getting food from the larder.

Elves don't have peace treaties, they are just full from their last meal.

Elves don't go to war, they go to market.

Elves are the reason you put off training marksdwarves because that would mean cutting down trees.

Elves don't eat with a knife and fork. They don't eat with their hands. They eat with their TEETH and wipe your blood off their faces with your beard!

Elves don't have trade goods, they have bait.

I'm imagining an elven seige with elves riding unicorns, and when an elf downs a fisherdwarf he leaps off and starts chowing down. But the unicorn he was riding makes off with a chunk. Enraged and jealous, the elf chases the unicorn to a cliff and wrestles it to the ground, biting the chunk still int he unicorn's mouth and gnawing on it. They stand up and start pulling, the elf punching the unicorn in the face over and over until it finally lets go and tumbles down the cliff to splatter in pieces below. The elf looks over the side, gristle dangling from his jaw. Inside, the dwarves are watching in horror and wall up the entrance until the next update.

Elves don't dig mass graves, they set up a buffet.

Elves don't have weapons, they have war utensils.

Elves don't wear makeup, they use their face as a sauce-transport.

What the hell happened? Did Toady accidently give the elves a massive dose of whatever virus it was featured in the movie 28 days later?

It was on purpose.  Eating things you've killed is Nature's (read: the elves') way.  They also get real pissed about the things they've always complained about before.

In short: not only are elves still touchy, they're touchy and hungry.
