The world is too peaceful

No matter how big the world, the log always shows the same pictures

dozens of caves, with only like 3-5 mega and semi megabeasts, and usually about 5 creatures that no one cares about. Because of the new world gen stye, many parts of the maps are uninhibited, so wherever i go, there is only 1 cave readdy for me to attack, and after that, everyone is just "quite untroubled"


I am literaly forced to go amok with my adventurers as there are no normal quests for me.

How can I raise the number of mega and semi mega beasts in a world ?

I multiplied megabeast size x10 before worlgen (i was gonna turn it back after the worldgen is over) and I ended with a game with NO entities...

I wandered for about 6-8 towns, and none had a quest for me either.

Perhaps you could up the frequency of megabeasts or increase the number of caves.

Yeah, I forgot to mention. The medium world has just 25 mountain and 50 usual caves. I upped them to be 250/500, and there're a lot of quests now.

I have black dragons strike the helpless towns in squadrons of three. That doesn't help them though.

Megabeasts needs to reproduce in my opinion. Slowly.

So, if we make a world with advanced parameters, can we share it with others or recreate it in a similar way to using the seed in the previous version?

Yes, just export the tile map in the legends screen and it will also generate the map data.

Has anyone seen an ironman? I haven't seen any for several versions. All the caves I've run across from the last few versions have been dismally empty.

Its a shame megabeasts are only created at the start of world gen. I think it would much more interesting when all of a certain types of megabeast die, a few more are created to fill in the gap during world gen.
