What timezone is Toady in, anyway? I've never been able to figure it out based on his updates... and, of course, he probably updates in the morning, not at midnight. (I've been up to 6, 7am before EST, and didn't see his updates until the next day.)

Toady stays up for unhumanly, unhealthy, impossible amounts of time, coding and shit.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Not to get philosophical with you, but time if one of the many things man created to try to understand the world and bring meaning to what they didn't understand.  It's the same time everywhere on Earth. :)

No, no it's not. For example, Japan is in the future compared to europe and north america, which is why they have an edge in developing hi tech =thingies=. It is just an edge so it can be overcome but I think you'll find that is the only sensible explanation for it.

I personally didn't expect the new version until the time he normally updates... which is around 10AM EST

Even then he did say he may not finish it today anyhow

Wrong, it's 43. With a d.

And Toady One NEVER sleeps. He has gone passed that stage by now. He is but one step away from becoming a world-devouring god.

Did you just post a bunch of vegi-dicks on my board?  I've been trying to combat forum devolution a bit, and that involves fewer vegi-dicks!

A lot of us certainly have a cult-like devotion to him.

I'm going through my release checklist now.  The big gray area is the Mac, since I haven't turned it on for five months.  If that all works out, it should be up in an hour or two or a bit more.
