Using version 0.27.176.38c

10 years in. "Autumn has come."
The game pauses to Autosave, and... nothing happens.
Solid black screen using 100% of the processor for the past half hour while I searched the forums. Still not responding. The save files haven't been modified in over half an hour either, so it doesn't appear to be doing anything at the moment. Any recommendations or should I just kill it and hope for the best?

Any mods, how big is your land size, any terrain features of note?

No Mods, I don't remember exactly- but it's not big; say 3x4 Lots of cliffs, a magma pipe, and an underground river.

Edit: I got tired of waiting, so I End-Tasked and restarted. The save appeared to load up alright,so it finished saving out and got stuck after that, apparently.

Edit 2: I take that back, there's some strange bits, like a room a designated for smoothing 'forgot' the designation on some of the tiles. But that's all I've noticed.

I think, unless you have changed the task priority, using the browser whilst playing DF in windowed mode will 'pause' a save or load process, not because it's df, but because it's a write process.
