The great beast has come, destroyer of worlds.

This strikes me as an excellent idea for a mod; right now the amount you can actually do to mod the game is limited, but that will only expand over time.

Updated it for 39A.

Orks are still strong, one killed a Bloodthirster, Great Unclean Ones have a tendency to let go of their prey, Wolves and Cougars seem to dominate the legend screens, I've seen some kill alot of people, and I wrote a ballad for one of them.
Quote
Conjurecorsses was a cougar, he thought he could fly!
Down he flew from mountains upon high!
And struck poor Conu in the eye, oh poor Conjurecrosses who thought he could fly!

The entity settings are going to need some tweaking once it's clear how they work.  I genned up a medium world - all the demon/megabeasts were killed inside 30 years, then another 1020 passed without a single war.  40K that is not.

Curiously, I also can't play as an adventurer, but still have access to fortress mode.

Yah I have that problem, and I dunno about the wars tho, it seems really odd even with the conflicting ethics settings, Imperials punish people, whereas orks and Chaos accept crime....Strangely, I've seen all the Megabeasts that are genned usually only end up killing 1-2 people or not even wounding someone. One of the few kills I've seen was that of Buru Xomusloxuk, who killed 2 orks and an Eldar.  Real feat to kill orks.

Still get some crashes on embark.

It seems I can't play adventure mode in this mod. Have I done something wrong?

Found the problem, Just updated it. But a few problems I still have is my error log getting spammed with "Sametile" entries, food made from red wine, and the Imperials hauling the seeds the planters are trying to plant back to the food stockpiles.

One conflation of problems-

Most of the worlds I've made, if you watch the historical map unfold, you'll notice the Ork nations never expand.  Since they're genderless (as appropo) they can't breed, so the starting population is all they get.  Every tower I've visited has had maybe a couple residents.

If you start as an ork adventurer, it might randomly generate a birthdate after worldgen, but remember that it makes up PCs on the fly.

No. You need women for that. Just like in RL.

Very nice little mod here, except for one little point: a 40k mod without Bolters? For shame...

It's supposed to be ab out the IG more than a space marine, considering a normal human couldn't even begin to lift a bolter...Anyway a bolter would be too uber for it to be used, if I could I would have replaced the ballista with a heavy bolter.

Ah, I see your point. The basic Bolter would be a bit much, but IIRC, Comissars use Bolt Pistols, albeit only for executions. Perhaps they wouldn't be too much?
