I've oddly enough found one of the nearly legendary magma temples.  It's a human settlement's temple to their god of volcanoes.  And, as we all know, life is, in a word, volcanoes.

the temple that flooded the entire human capitol when my ingenious "device for the bypassing of aquifers by the use of screws and sacrilege" failed dramatically and flooded first the entire temple into which it had been installed and then the rest of the town was amusing.
