"Beep. Beep. Beep."
Umom Kosh woke up growling.
Umom was a very light sleeper. Over the years, he had developed a passionate hate for anything that woke him up. He had to keep himself from throwing a spike at whatever was making that annoying sound.
He had smashed countless human "alarm clocks" out of pure frustration, and countless more things had suffered the same fate.
"Beep. Beep. Beep."
Umom opened his eyes and stared at the persistent little fellow that was interrupting his sleep. It was his message transmitter.
Umom lived in a small cave he had digged out himself under Hrodna. The silence underground had been a welcome rest from the many many sounds above ground.
But his peace didn't last long.
The hive had obliged every alien "quarters" to have around atleast one message transmitter in cases of emergency. The penalty for not having one when needed ranged from forced labour to several decennia on a barren planet.
Umom hitted the transmitter. It stopped making annoying sounds, but it's screen still brightly flashed.
Since he was still sleepy, it took a few moments before he actually understood the message.
*Incoming transmit to local forces*
Human SCO has crashed near Hrodna. Life scans indicate all of the seven commandos are alive. Request immediate elimination.
Warning, human subjects are very dangerous.
*End transmit*
He growled again. Why couldn't the humans bother them at a decent hour!
The transmitter beeped again as it parsed through the coordinates it recieved.
Umom was surprised to see how close he was to the crash site.
He looked up, sighed, and started digging upwards.
"Duty calls." he moaned in himself.
