Hey, glad to see more people interested! You can definetly come by, and Sappho can probably bring you in to the story. We've been doing the games Sundays at 4pm EST. (That is subject to change, though, and it probably will change if it doesn't work for everybody.) Let us know when you're available, here or in chat.

To join us, download and install OpenRPG (here). Run it once, so it updates. Then come on over to the set-up chat room (here), password toodeep.

It would also be helpful to check out the QAGS Quick Start Rules ( http://hexgames.com/main/system/files/QAGS+Qik+Start+Rules.pdf  ), but we can just explain the basics if you don't. They're pretty easy to learn. See you in about 7 hours!

I'll add links to the character creation rules to the first post in this topic for anyone who'd like to join us.  I have to approve your character, but once I do you can join us and I can bring you into the plot.  I'll try to log into the chat early today so we can work on improving characters if anyone gets there in time.  I'll have to start giving you guys more difficult situations to use up those YY!

Also, a few of you know that Hex (the makers of QAGS) has offered to possibly hire me as a freelance writer to publish Fictons and adventures and such through them.  I heard back from the creative director yesterday and they have approved one of my proposals - a world where women have taken over and shipped men overseas to prevent their aggressive tendencies from causing violence and strife.  Obviously there's a lot more to it than that, but one of the key points of the setting is that the players will all have to have female characters.  :D  I'll be working for a little while on that in my free time, so you might see less of me around here, but if a few of you are interested I might bounce some ideas off of you and get some feedback once I've written some drafts up.

I'll try to be in the chat by 3:00 EST.  Our usual start time is 4:00 but if everyone can get their earlier, that would work great too.  As long as we have at least 3 people we will play.  See you guys then!

I am so glad I joined this. This session was entertaining to say the least. You can expect to see me next session, despite anything the world may throw at me.

I totally spaced on it.  Sorry I missed out.

I need to remind myself, somehow.  I hate missing or being late for sessions.  Ah, well.

This looks quite fun. I hope to be there next time.

Will I create a character there or should I be preparing something now?

I created a character there, and by personal experience I suggest you create one beforehand.

The manual on the first page details how to spend your Yum Yums (known as YYs) properly...
...not to mention what they are...
in a fairly amusing fashion.

Tips:
-Think of skills as Dwarf fort skills. However, you're not bound to them. (I.E. Vallam is a good climber)
-We're all a little nuts. It to fit in. Don't you want to be popular?
-The pointy end of your weapon goes into your enemy. Unless you have a hammer. Then the big end does.
-Save some YY for the game itself! It is useful in-game as well.
-Try to give yourself Gimmicks/Weaknesses that are not (specifically) violent/combat related.
-Don't forget to read the logs if you want to be in the loop! Being out of the loop will make you sad, and you being sad will make me sad. Then the fell moods start kicking in...

Nice spikes of text you've got there, AP.  Impressive.

Today's session was fabulous, everyone did great, thanks for coming those of you who were able to make it.  Dreamer, we were sorry to miss you, but you're still there following them around.  We didn't really take you into account today, but you'll just be with the group next time, no problem.  We have always been at war with Oceana.

For newcomers, I'd recommend creating your character beforehand.  I can then look it over and suggest any changes before we get into the game, saving every possible second for warm, chewy game-time goodness.

Okay, I've got the log up in record time: Here! Click Here!

Also, I've set up a summary page/log link page on the wiki (here). Nural Zas, what is your forum name? I couldn't remember. Also, I couldn't find an exact translation of Vallan's last name, it's Something Choke, so I just used the closest I could see. I find it's harder to cut down the summaries of more recent sessions. I suppose eventually I'll go back and make the session 4 summary shorter, but I just couldn't bear to skip any of it (no pun intended).

Excellent show everyone. Let's see if we can work out a better time, maybe?

Ah, okay, fixed. Somehow I didn't catch who you were. I definetly like your thing for plants. We're an odd bunch of dwarves indeed.

Possibly the funniest stuff I've read in a long time. I'd love to give it a go if I can work out how to be on at the right time (gmt + 1 here as well) and if you need another player. Although probably not till after your next session or so cause currently I'm up a stupid hours on Monday morning.

Somewhat off topic:
Sappho, I sent you a PM. Did you get it?

I think I'm going to read last session's game again, just because I found it so amusing...

I did get it, just a little caught up with a few other things to give it the proper thinking-over it deserves.  I'll get back to you soon.

Well, with job changes for me and upcoming schedule changes on Sundays, another time might be good for me, but it's up to ya'll.  I'm now available on Saturday evenings, which would probably work better than Sunday (For me).

Great session, by the way...  Too bad I missed it. Next time, though!

Well, Sunday is currently the Canadian thanksgiving, which leaves me in a dilemma... Turkey or Multiplayer adventure?
I'd say both, but that might be to the chagrin of my sister. We'll see.
