A name for the demon leaders

What about calling them "princes" ? Demon mayor does sound dumb, and just "demon" sounds a bit too generic in my opinion.

Demon Prince = copyright infringement.  :P

Lot's of options, though.

Demon Sovereign
Demon Baron
Demon Count
Demon Earl
Demon Knight
Demon President (okay, nevermind this one)

I think their race name is alright, but their names would sound cool with titles. Like Baron Kalak Ripperspleens or something like that.

"King" is good. (It's good to be the king.)
I could see prince. Lord has a nice ring to it too.

I like Demon Prince the best, but if it's too cliche Demon Tyrant or Demon Overlord could work.

Demon prince is not cliché, it's just traditional. Overlord is cliché.

What? "Prince" has been the preferred term for especially powerful demons for centuries, and nobody can hold copyright on a two-word phrase anyway.

Check the emoticon again. I was joking about Games Workshop and their tendency to sue people for the most farfetched "copyright violations". I actually rather like Demon Prince, but it doesn't seem like the best option. I mean, aren't they supposed to be outcasts in their own society? So, after enslaving a bunch of goblins, shouldn't they give themselves a grand titles?

It's traditional in a folkloric and religious way. When demons lead other demonic-like creatures, they tend to be called "prince".

Demon Lord is another choice.
