God:Anmod, is a passive, benevolant god, prefering to see how things unfold before commiting to anything, his plans may go for hours or millenia. His avatar is a tall human, thin but full of muscle. He has human emotions, he dreams in his sleep and he his merciful. Anmod also has some of the weaknesses of humans, mercy, he likes gambling, sometimes he follows his balls rather than his head, and he is prone to drink. He usually is in his mortal form, living on a particular glacier in his own world where his race, the Covads come from. His own powers deal with ice and to a lesser extent speed and hunting. His favorite thing is buildings, and architecture.

Physiology: The Covads are like are human shape but taller, and with dark blue skin, thinner than most humans while still having meat on them, although their body is mostly muscle. They usually have light brown to jet black hair, older Covads sometimes shave their heads. They are omnivores and are able to eat almost any organic material, however do not need to ingest liquid - however they like good alchohol - as their bodies are very cold, their blood once in the open immediately freezes, no matter how warm it is, and stays that way for three days before dissipating into water. The ice created by the blood is darker than normal ice and hard, however very brittle, it can - and has - be used as a weapon when none is at hand. They prefer to live on tundra because prolonged exposure to heat can be fatal, they are great, natural swimmers, able to dive to depths greater than 50m and are able to hold their breath for up to an hour. However other than fishermen, soldiers or sailors, very little Covads swim often. Covads live fairly long, they are considered old and 170 years of age and most die at 200 years of age. Children are tested for their job at 10 years of age and ply their trade from then, they are considered adults at 20. The Covads have complete gender equality.
History: They were created by Anmod from the ice on a glacier he discovered in a world where magic permeates everything, the ice was strange as it was slightly paler than normal ice. The ice was a perfect sphere, and was about one metre in diameter. Anmod carved the ice out of the ground with his bare hands, and then took it to a nearby cave that he setup days before to dwell on this world, one he grew particular fond of, days he meditated, trying to think of ways to use the ice.
After seven days and seven nights of meditating he finally came to a decision. He went over the ice which was placed in a peculiar alcove in this small ice-cave, he picked the ice sphere with his left and in his left hand he held up Lo'ktarr a fabled sword, which was created by magic to defeat magic. He struck the sword down on the ice, he expected to feel the blade to touch his left palm, but instead he only felt weightlessness in his right hand as it fell into empty space, encountering no resistance, he realised that Lo'ktarr shattered upon impact on the ice, he immediately knew this was more special than he realized, but if Lo'ktarr broke on it then he has small hopes of doing what he planned. He couldn't do anything now, he then tried to mold the special ice into a sword but his attempts were futile, it drained too much of his energy, so he went outside gathered normal ice, and made sure this time it was normal ice, and molded a sword out of it, he then went and rest.
The next morning he woke up in a sweat, he knew it was a dream, he rarely remembers them, he went and grabbed the bottle of rum near his bed and toke a swig of it, he got dressed and walked over to the stone and threw it as far as he could. But somehow he was drawn to it and he felt that he couldn't be rid of it, he started running, because of his strength he threw it many miles, he reached after an hour of sprinting, he found the ice to be split in half, he was dis-heartened at this but then realise it was split perfectly down the middle, exaclty how he wanted to cut it, he picked up both sides of the ice and put ran all the way back to the cave, he placed the ice on the aclove where it was before and looked at it, after staring at it for a long while, it started to glow, a faint bluish glow, however it was very faint and if it was't for his keen eyesight he wouldn't have saw it. He picked one side up and went to try and mould it into what he wanted to before, he found it was easier to mold then normal ice, even though his previous attempt ended in failure. He set out into molding the pick into Eimn'r, a weapon that Lo'ktarr would be as insignificant as ant is to an elephant, a weapon the could be used to to crush and pierce, a weapon that could be used as a tool for expanding empires. It was succesful, but it took many hours and when it was finished it was pitch black outside; midnight. He then set about with a small carving knife to carve ancient runes, ones that will seal it's fate forever, he just needs to set it in motion.
The task to so much out of Anmod, he had to sleep for 3 days afterwards, at the end of the three days he took Eimn'r and went hunting with it, it seemed that the pick gave him increased sense, even more so then the godly senses he already has.
When he returned to the cave he didn't know what to do with the other piece of ice, then an idea sprung to him, create a race out of it! His own people! Other gods had their own people, he was jealous, one weakness of his human emotions, but he couldn't create in just any world, he must create in a special world, just for him and his people and the plants and animals needed for survival.
The world he created was equal, it had four quadrants separated by mountain ranges, but connect in the middle by a small lake surrounded by mountains, he created dense jungle and forests in the north-west, massive tundras in the south-west, vast plains and prairie in the north-east and a vast glacier in the south-east. The whole world was surrounded by a vast ocean, with many sea serpents, monsters and fish inhabiting it. The ocean was connected to the lake in the middle by rivers, as vast as 5 miles to small creeks a metre wide. He created small and giant wolves in the tundra, with the game needed for them to survive, giant sloths in the jungle, with giant trees to accommodate them. Prowling giant lions in the prairie, with game enough for it to survive. In the glacier he created giant polar bears with equally giant creatures for it to feed off. After creating 8 Covads, 4 males, 4 females, he placed 1 male and 1 female in each quadrant, in suitable places to live, plenty of food. He taught them all how to hunt a particular style in each particular quadrant. He taught them how to forge and how to use basic magic, how forage and basically, how to survive. He then left them for a millennium and traveled the worlds as he done before, but always thinking about those 8 Covads, questions pondered upon his mind about the welfare of his children.
After a millennium of travel, he decided that it was time to go back and check on his children. The first of them he saw were the ones in the prairie, he saw that they didn't cope well in the heat, that they were neither prosperous or healthy, there were few of them, thirty at most. He left them to see the next 'tribe' of covad, he searched for days and days in the tropical jungle in the northwest, he found a village, however it was deserted and after searching the surroundings he found the graves of 10 Covads. He couldn't sense any in that quadrant.
He next went to check on the glacier tribe, he found the bodies of both 1 mile from where he left them, in a pit, they died from starvation. He felt very sad, but he could do nothing, so he traveled to the tundra, there he was amazed! They were prospering, although it was small groups in cities but it seemed it was one Kingdom, there was roughly 300 in each city, in makeshift tents with 500 in the main city made out of stone, there was a total of 3000 Covads, roughly.
The next night he came in a vision to the leader in both tribes, he told them to take their tribe to the lake, to follow the rivers. The leaders recognized him and followed what he said. The next day, the prairie tribe started to move out, following the rivers. A week after the visions came the whole of the tundra tribe - if you could call it that - started to move out, towards the lake. 2 weeks after the visions, both tribes arrived, they could see each other from the opposite shore, then Anmod appeared to them in physical form above the lake, he told them to merge and create a beautiful city on the lake, he knew they were good swimmers so he knew they would do it, none were afraid of the water. He left them for the next century.
After the century he visited them, they built a grand city upon the lake, with great pylons supporting it, it rose at least a kilometre in the air at the highest point, it was in a tiered design, with a great wall surrounding it, each tier was 10 levels high with each level 10 metres high, there were 10 tiers with each tier being taller and thinner than the last. All tiers were in a hexagon shape. What Anmod didn't see was the massive worshops underneath the lake. The whole city was made out of ice. He was proud of them, he knew that he would do him good, and make some of the other gods jealous.
He didn't need to guide them much, he just appeared to them and said he was proud, and he told them to continue prospering. He then left them to continue his travels, he still had his magic pick, he felt it still isn't the right time to give it to them. But one day, the time will come.
Culture: In Covad culture, Anmod is revered but not followed blindly, they wish to please him but won't sacrifice anything for him, Anmod doesn't want any sacrifices either. The Covads developed a series of test to test each Covad youth to what they're best at, it has never failed with each child being happy, most people are equal with no family living poverty, all Covads are willing to forgive and the give to others. The only people who are superior to the others are the leaders, who are chosen from the soldiers by the people, and the soldiers them selves, although any Covad can fight, but they prefer not to. Most soldiers have another trade that they are adept yet. They prefer to live in stone houses however can live in wood or other material houses. Because of the Covads fatality to heat, they have never worked with fire or smithing. If a Covad is traveling through hot areas, they stay near rivers as if they aren't in either cold or water once every 24 hours, they die. The number 10 and the Hexagonal shape is considered lucky. One of the best gifts a Covad could recieve is wood, as wood is scarce in Covad territory.
Combat & Weaponry: They prefer to not fight at all however they can if they must, when fighting most use ice spears and hammers, as they are easiest to make, less use maces and swords, in the whole kingdom, two to three Covads use ranged weapons, two of them use blowguns and one uses crossbows, these are very hard to make by the Covads and are very rarely imported, all Covads are adept at hand-to-hand fighting. All soldiers use at least ice armor to the strength of iron and officers use at least ice armor to the strength of steel. All weapon and armor made using ice never melt however can break. No Covads use magic in fighting, they detest using it to harm others directly.
Magic: Covads have very limited use of magic, even fewer can use it, their main magic is to deal with moving physical objects and they use it by thinking.
Eiop'lar
This is used to move and lift objects.
Iec Maror
This spell is used to create the ice armor.
Cei Peawon
This spell is used to create ice weapons.
All of the magic was not taught by Anmod but rather discovered by 'eccentric' members of the Covad race.
Hero:Nanyt Onthanj
Nanyt turned 20 three days before the tribe set out for the great lake, he is one of the few able to mold ice into weapons and armor of steel quality. He is slightly taller than normal Covads, with more muscle in his legs and is very fast, he is a competent hunter as having hunted in his spare time. He has mastered many types of fighting, Hand-to-hand, spear fighting, swords and maces are some of the weapons he has mastered. Nanyt believes he is just an ordinary Covad, he may be, but then again, destiny isn't set in stone. Shall he be remembered by all Covads as their hero, their Saviour? Will he be the favorite of Anmod? Only time will tell.

Ok I'm done, however I'd like to point out that in history Anmod made a pick with the other half of ice and I plannedon having it freeze certain body parts, however I thought it was overpowered so I changed the history to make it increase senses, I also want to make the carrier immortal, immune to sickness and old age but can still get injured and killed in battle, it also increases intelligence and observance, in the sense that you can see the smaller things while look at the big picture.
I also added to culture, a lucky number and shape and that wood is considered a special gift, which may change the reaction between Covad and other races.
