In case there is anyone out there who hates free games and will only get games if they are worth cold hard cash, Cave Story+ is now on steam.  :)  Has HD graphics, remastered music and even some cheevos.

No idea, but if its the same one that was released on the WII I seem to remember not liking the new music.  (Although come to think of it I don't remember being a fan of the original music either).

Most people didn't like the Wii music because it wasn't the actual music. All of the percussion tracks were missing or something akin to that, which made everything sound terrible.

I'm more intrigued by the new Wind Fortress challenge level. Though, that's not enough to make me buy it. I already own three different copies of Cave Story.

If nobody's tried it in the next several hours, I'll jump on the grenade.  Won't play far tonight but can at least give first impressions.

How much is it?  Phone can't reach Steam very well.

As of right now, it is $8.50, going up to $10 when it is no longer on sale.

Anyhow, does the steam version have anything more than the one on the 3ds?
