probably. you also have to beat kaizo mario and tower of duraga, and with the latter beat the hidden other tower first. then you have to kill the first boss of la-mulana without anything but the knife, and THEN beat the final boss of mofo from kid radd without cheating. you'll have finally passed the first screen.

I second that notion, for example lots of people I know said Machine X was insanely hard, yet I beat it with no difficulty at all..

Anyways, he's only hard if you didn't take the Masheen Gan, but even then it's still pretty easy

It's hard because all those little orbiter things block its face, and then they start shooting what looks like sperm. Tentacle rape?

At the end, though, just charge the Spur and blast when it becomes vulnerable. If you don't have the spur, it may be easier to shoot down either Misery or Sue, but not both, since the Core starts shooting missiles.

And Monster X ain't hard. Blade level 1 or 2, at point blank range, and jam the fire button as hard as you can.

Wait what? The core doesnt shoot missles. Do you mean those huge energy orbs? He only does those at >1/2 health. Open Mouth.

It was Misery shooting the missiles after taking down Sue, not the Core. My bad.
And you're wrong because he doesn't fire those energy blasts until 20-25% health, not 50%.
