Kill the Gaudis early, so you don't have to worry about them getting in your way.  Learn the machine's simple pattern and jump over the parts that kill you.

It doesn't take damage until you destroy the 4 green pieces in the middle. Of course, after that it starts spamming homing missiles... that is by far the hardest boss in a normal run.

Again, the core always gives me more trouble. I've always though Monster X was quite easy. Just hit him with a level 1 or 2 Blade(I never use level 3).

 Level 3 can be handy in the first form, as if you hit the monster from below you can generally hit every node.

If you don't spam lv2 Blade into his center, you're doing it wrong. Bubbler should only be used as protection from all his missley things

Lv2 Blade into the center is the fastest way, sure. But the Lv3 Bubbler does provide great protection against hittable incoming projectiles.

Bubbler is by far the best overall weapon there is. You are pretty much guaranteed to hit.
