Extracting Fortress map?
« on: August 10, 2006, 10:45:00 pm »

There is a way to get the world map, but what about a map of your spiffy fortress?  Movies are fine and all, but it'd be nice to show the whole thing at once.

Yeah, I think Demon asked for that earlier on irc.  It wouldn't be hard to do, and it'll be done at some point.  Now, as for me saving nice files like PNGs instead of BMPs, well...

libpng is your friend!  You love libpng!

Even if you don't. =)

The first time I downloaded it a while ago, it had a giant security notice, and the help didn't make a sense...  I'm using zlib for saving my regular files, maybe it's similar or something.

There is a lurker in my forum that says he made some libpng stuff I could use, but he is an ephemeral being.
