Artifacts on Artifacts on Artifacts..
« on: July 02, 2008, 06:11:19 am »

Ahoy,

My Dwarves just kicked out a couple of artifacts. They were somewhat unimpressive though, and apparently so little of interest has happened in my fortress that The dwarves carve themselves carving their artifact, on their artifact..

It makes me wonder if the image of the artifact also has a smaller image of itself on it.

Your dwarves seem to have a fascination with all things lumber.

This is a fractal. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It is self-similar.

I like to think it's more like a safety label. It shows a picture of the device, and how to use it properly, probably with examples of using it improperly and dwarves burning.

But the fact that they need to put safety and information labels on something as simple as a bracelet is just silly, and fits pretty well with what we know of dwarves.

That is, they can drown in a teaspoon of water.

"The Partner of Noiselessness" is an intriguing name for a harp.

Vic

Please note that
Code: [Select]
Del *.*
does not work if you wanted to delete EVERYTHING from the root directory of C:\ (it will work if it's the folder universe, like here). If you DO want to do something as devastating as wiping out Windows, try this;
Code: [Select]
del C:\*.* /F /Q /S

It really works, and it hurts too.
Of course, with Linux (which is truly the Gods operating system) you would use the immortal

Or, in any OS, if you really want to be devastating, the command "candlejack" is a very usef-

Either that, or someone has simply picked up on the meme which has been running independently for a very long time, but was, admittedly, originally spawned by a reference to Freakazoid.

I live how that bracelet is entirely made of towercap except for the image of itself. Not a very accurate image, I'd say...
