Stack of Six?

I thought this was impossible...

This happened awhile ago but I only got around to posting it now.  It is version 38c.

I'm seeing this pretty much with legendary farmers (without fertilization). But it's pretty rare. I suspect, that it's like quality modifiers for other goods, where masterful is sixth.

I've never personally used fertilizer.  Does that actually allow you to go over the cap of 5?  That is news to me if it does.   My growers are legendary and no fertilizer is used so perhaps it is a bug, perhaps not :-\

I've never seen more then 5 without fertilizer, though to be honest I rarely farm enough to get a legendary grower anymore, anyway. With fertilizer I've seen stacks as big as 8 though so it is possible to get more then 5.

I suppose some soils might just be more fertile then others, I've never really tested or even payed attention to it at all. What soil type is your farm on?

I also get occasional stacks of six plump helmets without using fertilizer, and my farm plots are positioned on white sand.

Yeah, even a novice farmer will get 6 of them once out of every 12000000 attempts.  I think the most you can get is 11 with full fertilization and good farming skill rolls (and some luck).

This implies fertilization pretty much doubles the stack size... I think I may have to revisit my farming (not that I ever use more than one farmer as it is.. but still)

I thought it added 3, which would mean that very rarely a legendary +5 farmer will plant and get an [8] (with fertilizer, [11]).
