The "spoonful of sugar" song is far less charming when you realize she's giving them Ipecac.

Proactive.
And all those other words that go along with it.
And most of the slang of the world.
However, I love the word wallow.

GORN is a nice one. Very woody.
Points to who ever knows where this one is from.

Yes, random is funny, isn't it? Sometimes I set up a random number generator when I need a good laugh.

The Gorn are a race from Star Trek. The roundish headed dinosaur man Kirk fought in hand to hand combat? A Gorn.

That was an intense fight.  I truly feared for Kirk.  Good thing he learned about Vulcan head-lightly-touching from Spock.

I like a very good many words. Not too many to list, perhaps, but too many to remember for my addled brain. Just off the top of my head, though; the word 'callipygian.' Go ahead. Look it up. I am that kind of guy.

I also dislike a lot of words. Perhaps too many to list in this category. Someone already mentioned 'literally:'

"I literally have the weight of the world on my shoulders!"

Absolutely unforgivable. Also, the non-word 'nother,' as in the expression 'a whole nother.' I ... I don't want to explain the rage I feel upon seeing that expression, or the formication I experience upon typing it. It just bothers me that much. Ooooh, and the word 'revolution' and it's relations. A new crappy video game is not revolutionary. A 2009 Honda is not revolutionary (except for the wheels, of course, since they actually, you know, revolve). Violent conflicts involving overthrowing a government or breaking down the established status quo; that is revolutionary. Geez!

I love the word irregardless when it is used around certain people.

If I say the word and their eyes go wide or the corner of their mouth starts to twitch I know it has had the desired effect.  ;)

As for words I don't care for... I think exclamations like sweet! and sick! annoy me. Just a little.

Fixed.

I hate "irregardless".  My math teacher last year said it, and she also pronounced "Reciprocal" "Recipical" and even spelled it like that.  Oh, and she called "perimeter" "Parameter".

Wiles: My dad does this.

He also likes to order things from a restaurant that aren't on the menu, just to irritate me.

Cthulhu what did you change? You know you have to bold it bc I can't be bothered. TL;DR

I suddenly recall a word that I absolutely dread.
"Like".
He was all, like... you know?
Kill me now, please.

I am a victim of growing up in a society where the words "like" and "whatever" were used too often. I cringe inwardly whenever they slip from my lips.  :(

I spew those out continually like a viking bellowing out three days worth of moldy bread he was storing in his stomach and beard.

Mary Poppins is the sexiest woman alive.
Who is the one who sets our temperature soaring?
Who is the one that sets our passions roaring?
Who is the queen of the silver screen that we all dream about?
Who is the moll, the living doll that we all dream about?

#~ Iiiiiiiiiiiiiits
Julie Andrews! (Ahhh ahh ahh)
When I breathe your name,
Julie Andrews (Ahhh ahh ahh)
It sets my heart aflame!
I can hear a heavenly choir,
You have set my soul on fire.
Julie Andrews, Juuuuuulie Andrews
I love you!

Julie Andrews (Ahhh ahh ahh)
You're perfect as can be,
Julie Andrews (Ahhh ahh ahh)
You're pure as TCP,
So collected, so hygenic,
So disinfected, so anaemic,
Julie Andrews, Juuuuuulie Andrews
I love you!

(Julie Andrews, mmm-mmm-mmm...)
--O Julie! Julie, forgive me for feeling this way about you when you're so, so clean.
But I've been like this ever since I saw you in Mary Poppins,
and you floated down with that crinoline spread out around you
and I had an uncontrollable desire... to look up!!
O Julie, you're more voluptuous than Twiggy!
more primitive than Katie Boyle!
You're sexier, sexier than Raymond Baxter!
Every night, I have the same dream that we are alone together,
I watch as you take off your habit and wimple,
and I say, "Shall we?"
and you say "Shall we what?"
and I say "You know."
and you say "I don't."
AND YOU DON'T!!
IT'S DRIVING ME INSANE!!

#~ Julie Andrews, (Ahhh ahh ahh)
Untouched by human hands
Julie Andrews, (Ahhh ahh ahh)
When you speak I understand.
Every word filled with romance,
Let me hear your "dance dance dance"
Julie Andrews, Julie Andrews, we love you.

Everyone!

Julie Andrews!
--Oh you goddess of passion!
(There's witchcraft in your eyes)
#~Julie Andrews!
-- Oh take me, take me, Julie!
#~You're the devil in disguise
We could care for no one else
We'll even give up Racquel Welch
Julie Andrews, Julie Andrews,
IIIIIIIIIII looooooooooove youuuuuuuuuuuuuu!
