df suggestion #1244: charcoal vs true/mineral coal
« on: June 28, 2008, 10:04:59 pm »

df suggestion #1244: charcoal should not be 100% equivalent to coal in terms of fuel. Because it is already pre-fired, about 2-4 pieces of charcoal should equal one piece of coal.

Realistically, a whole tree should give more than one log.

One chunk of unrefined coal currently gives 3 times as much actual fuel as one lump of wood (twice as much if you have to burn stuff processing it). Isnt that sufficient?

Lignite also nets 2 (with an input of 1, then net 1).
