I haven't seen the Nethackish - turned general permadeath game terms:

YASD: Yet Another Stupid Death
referring to the players' character dying through it's own fault
like losing a fortress to a tantrum-spiral because you killed all pets and did not build a legendary dining room.

and

YAAD: Yet Another Annoying Death

In this case, the death is caused by random game mechanics, and can be very annoying if you have carefully managed to grow your character.
Like having a Broze Colossus arrive before the first immigrant wave.


Oh. And there is '-3'.
It is commonly used in the meaning of 'the end of the known universe'
It originates from a bug from the 2d (and maybe early 3d) versions of DF, causing the game to crash with a -3 inflate error.

Plus, you have to admit that if you replace every instance of GCS with Grumpy, Cartwheeling Semen-peddler, you end up with some rather humorous anecdotes, immature as they might be.

There is a trend to include "lol" in any typed sentence these days, especially amongst the younger teen crowd. In fact, it's crucial in determining if you are talking to >14 year old by the frequent (and unnecessary) usage of things like lol. For example:

Teen1: "lol, I went to the supermarket, lol"

Teen2: "lol. What for?"

Teen1: "Dunno. lol. Bored. lol"

Actually, as a high school teacher I intercepted a note being passed in class very recently that looked depressingly similar to that above conversation.

Replace every instance of 'lol' with 'tee-hee', and it's depressingly normal.
