What is the awesomest thing you have ever done? It could be rampages, it could be single-handedly killing several Great Cave Spiders, it could simply be throwing a child off a roof.

My most epic moment was when I finally beat a goblin Axe Lord with a legendary adventurer.
Then I took his axe for later, and went up to the roof.
On the roof there was a demon, who had killed about 5 of my previous adventurers.
I kept throwing limbs at him, but they all missed him and hit other goblins.
Finally, when he was 3 tiles away from me, I hucked the Axe Lord's axe at the demon.

It beheaded him.

The most epic thing for me is when with my brand new adventurer, first quest, I ran into a GCS in the cave.

I stabbed it with my pike and it pierced its heart.
Then I ran back down the passageway, dodging webs being shot at me, and avoided it until it bled to death.
Luckiest hit I ever had.

I felt so proud.
Then I went around the next corner and a giant rat ripped out my throat.

Well, my spearman was roughing the barren tundras when he came across a polar bear...well, after a few moments, the spear was sticking out of the beast's chest, blood was everywhere and I was barely alive. It continued biting, and I tried hopelessly to fight back, in vain. I bled to death. However, a few turns afterwards, the polar bear died of his heart's piercing, thanks to that iron spear.

The time I was fighting a demon on a roof and bit it to death. I had been throwing things at it for a while untill it got close and started to do some close combat. I think I mangled its hand but didnt do any thing life threatening to it yet. It broke both my arms and I found I was biting it. I just keeped biting it untill it died. I had three demon chunks that I left in my mouth as momentos.

I beat a skeletal wolf to death with a rock and then killed its friends with its skull.

 I depopulated a Goblin Temple. Easier than a tower, because they are all visible right?

 I did it Spartaaaaaaa! style. Hammering the goblins into the pit of their temple down into the pool four z-levels down.

 Also, counter-attacking a Cave Swallowman a good twenty z-levels above me. This stunned the thing, causing it to fall to it's death.

 Every single limb was detached from the force of the impact. It's head was on top of a nearby goblin temple.

 This was all through a crucade on Goblin temples with a hammerman. I was looking for the fables temple with a magma pool.

I clove a GCS' head in half and sent it flying into a Troglodyte.  I believe the impact killed the Troglodyte too.  It was the first swing.

I also came to the top of a tower, completely surrounded by goblins, and a goblin Swordmaster.  I threw my spear at the Swordmaster, hitting it in the chest and getting it stuck.  I then went through the horde of goblins like Leonidas in The Epic Slow-Motion Run Through The Persians Scene.  When I was done, the Swordmaster was desperately hobbling away, leaving a trail of blood across the tower.  He bled to death before I could finish him off.

I bashed a dragon with an adamantine crossbow. This sent it flying back into a cave spider. The dragon hit with such force that both of them exploded.

Ahhh... Tamren's lying. Projectile-type creatures don't do damage. the stationary one "catches" the flying one without danger.

My hammerman vs a zombie spearmaster in a "retro" game. He stabs me in my chest and pierces my heart. Stuckin. In return, i bash him backwards 5 tiles, brown lower body. I pull out his spear and toss it at him. Headshot. Then i bleed to death.

I miss ruins in the new version.

Well i just started in adventure mod so the most awesome thing i've done so far is sneaking around a goblin tower and wrestling the goblins till i break all their bones. And chucking the corpses at other goblins. Oh, and killing a whole pack of wolves by only throwing wolf corpses (from my backpack) at them. Good times. 

Edit: No, scratch that. I just killed a demon by throwing coins and goblin clothes (and bits) at him from stealth until he fell unconscious, then breaking all his joints and gouging out both his eyes. He died of suffocation, cuz a coin hit him in the neck i think.

My current adventurer: Gomux Blightcry the Lustrous Abyss of Cyclones (earned everything after the "the") who waded into a super-dense goblin fortress (thanks, Legendary Lands mod).

He charges one marksgoblin to grab him by the throat.  Smashes a fist through his skull.  Grabs one of his bolts and spins around, throwing through the skull of another goblin bowman.  Draws his sword (which deals burning damage, also from the mod), vaporizing the torsos of two melee goblins flanking him.  Throws the sword at a goblin master thief (dealing very little damage).  Picks up the crossbow of the goblin beneath him, then hits the demon that had been approaching all this time.  The demon flew back 32 (!!) tiles off a cliff before exploding against the side of one of the tower walls.

Of course, the race I'm playing is a little powerful, but I still think this was all very awesome.
