So, I found my perfect area. It was almost all mountains, had a volcano, and an underground steam. But before I noticed the stream I channelled the magma from the volcano into the ice above the stream, and as I noticed the stream I tried to save it by creating a large hole and channelling the magma into it. Well, it killed both my miners because the flow was too quick, and I had to restart. But now I can't find the area on the map? Do they randomize it each time? If so, will it eventually return, because I think I played that area before.

and when the world is generated everything is permanently there, except things like trees and animals.
