Exporting map seed or changing tileset
« on: May 20, 2008, 10:40:00 pm »

(Hope this is the appropriate forum)

So here's the situation:  I've played a couple fortresses on the first world I generated, and I'd like to keep them around.  But the graphics are too small for me, so I downloaded the zelda graphics-set, which has the full game included.

So, I want to play the zelda graphics set, but using my original world.  How can I either:

a)  export the map seed and everything, and put it into the zelda graphics-set game, or

b)  move the graphics set over to my original DF game folder?

Hope this makes sense, and as always any help is appreciated and will get you 10 karma points on your next game.

Goto your existing DF folder, the one you have the saves for, go to the data folder and move the save folder to the new DF's, the one with the zelda graphics, data folder.

Seems simple enough.  I was worried the greater map area would be stored somewhere else and I'd bork everything up.  Will give it a shot when I get home.  Thanks for the help!
