Merchants refuse to leave

I'm done trading with some human merchants at an outside trade depot. After a while it says the merchants from whatever is now on their way. But they arent moving.

They brought wagons so they had enough room to get access from one direction. I tried paving another path south but they still wont budge

What am I missing here? Never had this problem before

Happens to me sometimes as well.
Wait another month, they'll be gone.

Sometimes they're just lazy about leaving.

Great the finally left. Btw checking the access to depot with [D] how much space do wagons need? Is a connection with at least one green W to the end of the map enough

Perfectly enough.
The green squares already keep track of how wide wagons are.

So as long as there is even one line of green squares to your depot, you'll be fine.
