At minute 9:25  of the interview you said you have to ship some creatures by ship i mean a zip file you download from the site,  you meant the game download huh? I thought you had pack of creatures that are not standard.

When Toady said zip file he meant the Dwarf Fortress Zip file, you know.. creature_standard.txt and all that  :p

Anyway, I'm working on a transcript, but at this point it's a pain.. I'm about ... 30 minutes into the interview so far.  I was not meant to be a secretary

Do we have a part on the Wiki for interviews with Toady? I don't believe so, but I'm guessing we should. That'd be a good place to put the transcript when it's done. And link to that world-shattering Gamasutra article in which Toady basically curb-stomped the entire game design community into hushed reverence.

Heh, yeah just looked that up again to get the inspiration to go on. I (or someone else (*cough cough*)) may as well set up a wiki article in advance and link to the Gamasutra article. Maybe even have some quotes from the article as an incentive to go read it.
