The fall of Black Anvil

I once had this fortress called Black Anvil. It was a proper fortress, not an actual outpost. I had traps in every exit, stair case and level. My troops were all at master proficsionsy and I still got wiped out by a goblin army (10 000 troops)!

I held the fortress fro about 2 years, and took out 75% of their troops but is was hard core. My king was the last to be slain as the goblins burst into the entry. The traps set off flooding the fortress with lava.

 That processor must make NASA cry.

 10,000 troops? Most forts don't even have that must in STONE. And your troops were only Masters? No wonder it fell.

 I'm assuming you had 100,000,000,0000,000 wealth?

No i actually had 100 thousand wealth, i got the brand new alpha version allowing me to expnad the local region tenfold

i had a couple of Stone fall and weapon traps, but mostly pressure plates that flooded the fort with lava. Oh and the max fps is USUALLY AROUND 56

does that really work, becuase my brother (the best DF 2 player ever) sez it's a waste of magma reserves
