Sometimes you have to =). This is not an on-off option like sieges in DF =).
So, always be ready to protect your @$$ or at least to hide and go away.

Paralyze, paralyze field, magic arrow and poison spells and hiding skill are your friends to escape many bad situations.
If you don't understand why, you may ask (or you may figure it out yourself through the pain and losses).

Ok, well I'm working on my Mace fighting and hiding skills as well as my taming.

If I get five llamas they should do a good job of distracting PKers.  I need a spell book for spells, which I don't have.

Caz, no mounts?!
No mounts guild = dead guild. I mean, any fighter/mage without a mount is dead in pvp.
And I don't see why dwarves can't ride llamas or beetles =).
I even imagine myself a dwarf on a beetle in a deep tunnel.

How do you imagine this =). The critters are basically ignored.

To Caz: I think the dwarves should be allowed to use beetles still... You decide.

Actually, liches are on map if you look at it.

Also the place is pretty fun (if you try to ignore that massive housing): orcs, orc cave and undead liches are nearby, providing a nice place for beginners to hunt.

What's the RP area? Good/bad town and other different portals? I wondered there a bit, but there's noone there.

Also it seems there're problems with Pkers, a lot of people attack without a word even when they see I have nothing.

I'm gonna try Grimmworld, my friend recommended it VERY hard. It's totally Roleplaying shard and it doesn't give you free accounts, you must ask for approval -> nice community. The only downside for someone may be that they allow only 18+ players (for "confidence").
Also there's no stupid 700 skillcap and a lot of races. I pick dwarf =). I'll tell you how good is it when play it for a few days.

There's no dwarven race city yet however this may come with time if there's enough dwarves. We can start this tradition.

Also note that there's NO random PvP. Only if both sides agree OR as self-defence (against insults too).
