Grimm seems a bit much for me, I'd rather not let some gonad who's played UO for 10 years tell me that I'm not suited for his server because I don't look right or some stupid crap like that.

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the cosmos. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips, I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my veins. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk and free throw.

Ah but this land is based of fairy tales, we just happen to be dwarves from mountainhomes from an obscure fairytale they have obviously not read. It's in the rules, and my application will clearly show them how I can praise armok, why I can, and where they can stuff it if they don't like it.

I still don't get this.  There's so much fluff.  I don't know what I'm actually supposed to do.

Monom's Night on the town:

I was happily mining out veins of iron when I caught message of a gathering in a nearby town. Curious of these strange new peoples, I hoarded my treasures up and investigated. Dirty and covered in soot I entered the cathedral and sat petrified as the humans worshiped the creatures of the abyss. I did not want to anger the creatures of the abyss, I have heard stories... After the mass, they all communed to a human house with odd masks, and had a questionable party. The abyssian priestess showed me around, fed, and gave me some of their  human alcohol which hold no standard to our dwarven brews. I feigned drunkenness, but it was more sickness due to their wretched brew, so she tried to teach me how to dance. After "accidentally" stepping on her toes multiple times, she introduced me to her brother who was an elf if I ever saw one, speaking of philosophies and things that daywalkers do. I really didn't care for him, so I burped the brew and bid my farewells to the abyssian priestess, and went back to work, lest I anger Armok.

Things to note: Their virtual church services are actually church services. They are civilized and need some dwarf love to roughen their edges. They are actually quite polite and helpful.

Who we have: Deon, I think he's a Macedwarf with the Mining/Smelting/Blacksmithing Occupation
Silleh (Zon), I think he's a Mining/Smelting/Weaponsmith
and myself (Monom). I'm a Mining/Smelting/Blacksmithing/Armorsmithing/Metalcrafter.

We need us a Carpenter, Fisherdwarf, Brewer, and Cook!

Join us as dwarves!

Everyone's worryingly friendly there, so far my attempts to provoke a goblin had it seem to take a liking to me after threatening to bash Monom.

I'm clearly doing something wrong.

Well, i'm done on it for tonight.
70 Smithing, 68 Mining.

I need to buy some shoes in it, as i'm running around bare foot at the moment, but i'm not paying 450 for some boots, when i know that they'd sell off a vendor, if there was one, for like, 38 gold.

S/he spoke so badly i had no idea either, but yeah, go team dwarf, we're so hardcore we can drive away an axe goblin with a rock and a shovel

from the site:

    *  You wont get unique PLAYER dwarven housing, or a dwarven PLAYER town. (However there is a very small NPC Dwarven village with a wall, mines, and a few NPC shops and houses, you can RP hanging out in.)
    * There is ONE building in the NPC Dwarven town reserved for a guild, i.e. a group of dwarven players playing together. It isn't very big, and you'd still need to be a member of another town to craft, but it's available.
    * We don't have a dwarven paper doll or any other custom items

Then please feel free to RP that your a dwarf, we'd be happy to have you. If we actually end up with a lot of dwarves, we will obviously make efforts to accomodate them beyond the above restrictions.

We need more dwarves!

Warriors, farmers, cooks, fishers!
Anything at all!
(just no nobles, or i'll ask Monom to install a floodgate before you can say "is that water i hear?")
