Didn't properly introduce myself in the previous forum, so hya. 
Was wondering something though, the "jump to" button doesn't seem to be working with me, it always just directs me to the subforum i came from. Anyone else got the same issue?

You mean down in the bottom right corner? Working for me. It's supposed to jump to the specified board, and defaults to the board you're currently in. Drop down the list and select the board you want to go to. It should automatically go there once you select one, but if not, clicking the "go" button should make it do so.
If it's not working for you, what browser are you using?

I'm currently using IE, but will try now with Firefox, guess its my browser then (like always, uh)

update: yep, with Firefox it works fine. Better just not use IE anymore.

It should work in IE though. I just tested in IE7 and it worked fine. What version of IE do you have?

7, as you. I'll try reinstalling it, think its a bit messed up. Browsers aren't my cup of tea.

I want to search by pure web address , sorted as usual.
I don't want to search by page title nor search in my bookmarks or history.
I don't want results shown by frequency or recency, and I like having each result show a single line.

But yes, I can understand why you don't want it (although I don't mind it and have already adjusted to the way it works just fine).

I'm not really sure what 2 sorts by, but I know the algorithm has changed in 3.
Hoping to go the 2 way, I found this: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6227 but it states "Note that the underlying autocomplete algorithm is the Firefox 3 algorithm, not the Firefox 2 algorithm."
