Gibbed's Dwarf Fortress Tweak

... is now "officially" released.

quote:
Tweak is a utility for Dwarf Fortress created by Rick which can load modules that provide different functionality to the user for tweaking, or editing Dwarf Fortress memory. It will attempt to automatically identify the version of the running Dwarf Fortress process and automatically load data related to that version.

DFWiki article.

Excellent!  Clear simple install, correct documentation, and it just plain works.  After a frustrating hour wasted on another DF utility without these attributes, it's a wonderful relief to see something done right.

Thanks, Rick.   :)

This means you are using an older version without any address definitions, probably .38b.

It is indeed 38b.  By memory definitions, do you mean memory.ini?  I put that in the tweak directory, using the information off the wiki, but... well.  I have elves coming soon that will see I am 1800 trees over quota, so I at least I have been busy waiting for a reply.

Tweak does not use memory.ini, it uses many definition files found under versions/ for memory information which get loaded automatically. I did not put in any addresses for .38b, though .38c is fully supported.

Do we still need to use Enable Magma Building with Tweak's version of reveal?
