Diary of Psycho. 28th of Sandstone.
Since we have now determined to enter the slaver business, those slaves are going to need somewhere to sleep.

We've mapped out an area to establish a place for such activity. It's really just a very large room.

Diary of Psycho. 22nd of Timber.
Food is becoming much too scarce. Despite the danger to her, we sent Mummu up to do some hunting.

She has returned with several hippo corpses, which should enable us to live comfortably for the foreseeable future.

Diary of Psycho. 21st of Moonstone.
Kobolds! Or a kobold at least! Seeking to steal our riches, no doubt. Dactylatra beat it to death with her bare hands.

I've got Bullion guarding the entrance at the moment. Where there's one, there more.

Diary of Psycho, 19th of Granite.
Spring has arrived, and with it it brings those pretentious Elves.
This undertaking brings little satisfaction to us, but killing those bastards is a definite highlight.

One of their camels was standing on the bridge at the time it was raised.
I don't know how many of you have seen a flying camel, soaring majestically through the air, but I do know I went to sleep chuckling to myself today.

The Elves didn't seem very pleased, shouting angrily. Then we pulled the lever for the trap itself. There was a loud noise, but no more shouting.

Diary of Psycho. 25th of Slate.
It appears we have newcomers at last.
Unfortunately among their number is an agent of the Crown. A military dwarf, more specifically a crossbowdwarf. We were forced to... deal with him.

Those we left alive, include:
BurnedToast Paintarrows,
Helm Cunningcrafts,
Sinesh Wordsship,
Jax 'the Unclean' Waspgilt,
Crom Merchantspeaks,
and Xotes Afenrimtar.

Despite receiving a large number of migrants, we took only these men on board. Everyone else was ordered to stay outside. They were naturally confused, but this condition only lasted a few minutes.

Unfortunately, they also brought a child, Kivish Ancientsyrup.
Despite our hardened natures, we found it difficult to kill a child.
I'm sure we'll get over it, however. BAHAHAH!

Happily, some of our new slaves have knowledge on how to work a farm. We've set about setting one up, so they may provide us with food in this manner.

Given the number of slaves, I've also taken on a law enforcement role.

Diary of Psycho. 2nd of Malachite.
Yet more migrants. The ones we have are working out fine.
That doesn't mean we want any more.

Pity for them, really.

Yet more migrants. They seem intent to settle here. More's the pity for them.

Inside the fort, however, the slave 'Crom', has begun acting strangely. He's been demanding things! No way for a slave to act.
That said, he grabbed some electrum bars, and set to work. If it's good, we won't have to kill him.

Diary of Psycho. 7th of Sandstone.
How regrettable! Not only has one of the dwarven traders survived the plummet, but he was a seasoned axedwarf. We're wary about going too close to him, but I can't imagine he's a serious threat.

Crom, however, has finished his task, and has created an electrum throne.
He named it Deershank, and it's quite spiky.
I value it around 48000, and demanded he hand it over. He requested he be allowed to carry it. Given that he had an insane gleam in his eye, I left it at that.
Perhaps I shall punish him later for his impudence.

I have ordered the construction of a prison tower, built entirely of obsidian.
No slave who does wrong will ever venture down those steps again.

Unfortunately, one of the slaves has managed to escape. Sinesh attempted to make a run for it, and tried to swim across the river to safety. He was immediately assaulted by Tigerfish, and despite fighting them off, the end result was his drowning.

Diary of Psycho. 18th of Granite.
The slaves have made the going easier, no bones about it.
The execution tower is almost complete, and is already capable of being used.
The obsidian tor already strikes fear in the hearts of the slaves, and you can see forever from the very top.

The Elves have arrived once again. I heard them talking about the tower. They were obviously afraid of it, one of them did not want to stay, but was convinced to do so by the other.
They will die in the shadow of the black tower.

Diary of Psycho. 13th of Slate.
The routine slaying of the elves continues.
We also have a pack of migrants headed our way. The last mess still isn't cleaned up.
How rude of them.

**Note: It's unusual (maybe even a DF first), but I'll only be taking slaves when I have a community member's name to attach to them.
